| Ms. Edwards, President and Chief Executive Officer of The RobinsonEdwards Group, has a long and varied strategic background that was honed at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The RobinsonEdwards Group provides strategic advisory and management consulting services to middle market companies and private equity firms that invest in that segment. Through the use of leading edge strategy, The RobinsonEdwards Group helps to create value for middle market companies and maximize the investment opportunities for private equity clients.
During her nearly seven years at BCG, Ms. Edwards provided general strategy and business consulting to Fortune 500 and other major corporations. Her projects spanned every BCG practice area and included: redesigning sales force for an aircraft parts distributor; performing strategic analysis for a top medical school; conducting competitive operations study for a U.S. automobile manufacturer; designing global export organization for a snack food company; designing performance metrics system and financial model for a top medical school; developing a strategy for inner city call centers; developing a feasibility study for high quality retail in an inner city area of South Dallas; conducting a workforce diversity best practices analysis for a leading financial services firm; developing a business case for broadband access investments in inner cities; and creating a process for BCG Dallas community investment efforts.
Ms. Edwards is currently a strategic advisor to the 21st Century Group, a Dallas-based private equity firm focused on creating value by employing a prudent investment discipline to generate long term, consistent returns. In this capacity, she provides strategic assessment of investment opportunities and serves as a board member and Chairman of the Compensation Committee of Integrity Packaging and Paris Packaging, two of the firm’s portfolio companies.
Ms. Edwards earned an AB in mathematics from Smith College and a MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
