As Senior Advisor and Investment Committee Member of HM Capital, Mr. Furst co-founded HM Capital in 1989. Mr. Furst focuses on HM Capital's investments in niche manufacturing, food and beverage, energy and financial services. He also serves as director of several portfolio companies.

Prior to founding HM Capital, Mr. Furst was a partner of Hicks and Haas, a merger and acquisitions and corporate finance specialist for The First Boston Corporation and a financial consultant for Price Waterhouse. Mr. Furst received his BS from the College of Business Administration at Arizona State University in 1981 and his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Texas in 1984.
