The Company operates through three business segments:  Human Nutrition, Animal Nutrition and Nutraceuticals. Human Nutrition produces functional ingredients such as whey and milk proteins targeting the sports nutrition industry and also provides ingredients to the food manufacturing industry. Animal Nutrition manufactures dietary supplements that help increase the productivity and yield of dairy cows. Nutraceuticals, a business the Company recently entered through a small acquisition in 2009, is a co-packer of protein powders for smaller companies in the sport nutrition sector.
